Mimosa pudica Linn for Insomnia Treatment

(Mimosa pudica Linn.) often grows on the roadside, field, rapidly proliferating, growing to sleep on the ground, sometimes upright. Stem round, hairy and prickly. Often we overlook the daughter plants grow wild so ashamed of it and consider weeds.The plant has small leaves form a compound composed, oval shape with a pointed tip, the color green (there is a reddish color). When touched the leaves will close (sensitive plant). Round, like a flower, pink, stemmed.
Utilization of diverse plant embarrassed daughter. Parts used are leaves, roots, whole plants, fresh or dried. Rules of use is 15 to 60 grams, boiled. While for external use: Wound, skin inflammation bemanah (piodermi), herpes is a crop of fresh crushed, placed in a hospital.
Here are examples of using these plants for the treatment of:
Insomnia.
  • To treat insomnia, as much as 30-60 grams of boiled leaves women ashamed then drink the water.
  • Can also by mixing 15 grams of leaves women ashamed with 15 grams of mustard leaves the sky (vemonia cinerea) and 30 grams of leaves and boiled calincing. The water is then drunk.
